Paris Wiideman Poses for Cute Photo

Taken in June of 2008, this photo is a close up of Ms. Paris Rose Wiideman. Paris is speaking in full sentences and is quite the chatterbox these days. We’re working on getting “Haris Wose” to “Paris Rose” and “Ohay” to “Okay”, but it’s so tough considering how adorable her words are.

Paris Rose is being much nicer to her sister Trinity this year, except for when she wants something that Trinity is in possession of, at which point she simply walks up and grabs it from Trinity’s hands.

This year Paris has seen the films Wall-E, Horton Hears a Who, Iron Man, Kung Fu Panda, and last night she fell asleep during the first five minutes of Hancock (Daddy had free passes from his bday – thanks Deleon’s!).

Her favorite tradition is going with Daddy to Knott’s Berry Farm, throwing pennies into the fountain, riding Huff’n Puff, Red Barron Airplanes, the Snoopy Bounce, and the Playhouse. She doesn’t like the Log Ride too much. She says the water hurts her eyes. “That hurt my eyes” is basically how she describes why something is scary to her.

Well, that’s all for now. Enjoy the photo!

Paris at 21 Months

Paris Rose at 21 Months

Paris was kind enough to help her sister Trinity open her baptism gifts today, after Trin was officially welcomed into the Catholic Church this morning. Thanks to all of our family and friends who attended this wonderful milestone.

Little Miss Paris Rose can now understand about 50 percent of what we say to her; although she only speaks a few words still. She’s got the following words nearly perfect:

  • Johnny
  • Eyes
  • Nose
  • Ears
  • Mouth
  • Kitty
  • Mommy
  • Daddy
  • GeeGee (Great Grandmother)
  • More
  • Mine
  • Yah
  • …and of course, “No”

Sorry we haven’t had much time to upload photos to the galleries, we’ll do so very soon I promise! A special thanks to Steve’s pal Dimitris who took the photo above and the photo you see in her current banner – thanks Dimitris!

My Songs are for Paris

Paris Rose at John Peratt Funeral

Okay, this picture’s a couple months old, but it deserves front page recognition for being one of Daddy’s favorites. Paris will be 19 months old November 23rd! She’s growing so fast and learning new words everyday. She still likes to push the power button on Daddy’s big screen TV while he’s trying to watch Lost, but I’m sure she’ll eventually find other buttons to push.

She’s into everything, and I mean everything! No amount of child-proofing will stop this little curious angel. Bathroom privacy? Ha! It’s so wonderful to watch her be so involved with our lives and interested in seeing and touching everything. We’ve both seen a lot of girls her age who just sit passively, almost numb to the world. Not Paris…..oh no, she’s not even a year and a half old and already everything is “mine”. (lol)

Stay tuned for photos in the next few days or so!

Paris Visits the Queen…Mary

Paris Rose Visits the Queen Mary

Princess Paris had her first trip to the Queen Mary in Long Beach last week and had the time of her life. Daddy planned the excursion as a way to let Mommy have a day of recovery.

Paris is now fluent with “Mommy”, “Daddy” and “GG” and has an adorable babble when she talks on the phone. She’s makes us both so proud and we can’t wait to see what she learns next!

Paris Rose July of 2006

Paris Rose at the Buena Park Mall

The photo above was taken at the Buena Park Mall on July 16th, a day after our 6 Year Anniversary. We’ve had one heck of a month! From Daddy’s 30th Birthday Party, to our Anniversary and a wonderful surprise baby shower for Trinity! We would be LOST without Paris’ grandparents (thanks Mom and Dad – all four of you)! And special thanks to Aunt Jeanette who has been picking up Paris after daycare; you’ve all been so kind in helping us, we really truly appreciate it!

Here’s an adorable shot of Paris at the Orange County Fair, taken last weekend (July 8th, 2006). She terrorized the poor animals, ate some fresh corn on the cobb, and toured around with us through all the exibition buildings. We’ll be sure to post some more photos to her gallery really soon!
