Paris Visits the Queen…Mary

Paris Rose Visits the Queen Mary

Princess Paris had her first trip to the Queen Mary in Long Beach last week and had the time of her life. Daddy planned the excursion as a way to let Mommy have a day of recovery.

Paris is now fluent with “Mommy”, “Daddy” and “GG” and has an adorable babble when she talks on the phone. She’s makes us both so proud and we can’t wait to see what she learns next!

Paris Rose July of 2006

Paris Rose at the Buena Park Mall

The photo above was taken at the Buena Park Mall on July 16th, a day after our 6 Year Anniversary. We’ve had one heck of a month! From Daddy’s 30th Birthday Party, to our Anniversary and a wonderful surprise baby shower for Trinity! We would be LOST without Paris’ grandparents (thanks Mom and Dad – all four of you)! And special thanks to Aunt Jeanette who has been picking up Paris after daycare; you’ve all been so kind in helping us, we really truly appreciate it!

Here’s an adorable shot of Paris at the Orange County Fair, taken last weekend (July 8th, 2006). She terrorized the poor animals, ate some fresh corn on the cobb, and toured around with us through all the exibition buildings. We’ll be sure to post some more photos to her gallery really soon!

Yes, She’s Really Only 1 Year Old

Paris Rose

Hard to believe isn’t it? Terrible 2’s at 14 months: incredible, but true. Just before I took this photo, Paris handed me her sunglasses to put on her, draped her purse over her arm and said “bye bye”, then posed for this adorable portrait.

I’ve got a few minutes, so I’ll try to upload some photos to her gallery. Sorry y’all, everything has been kind of crazy lately. Trinity is twice is the ball of engery as Paris, so it seems, so I’ve taken on a few additional roles at home. Don’t worry, Melissa is doing just fine, she’s just been warned by the doctor to stay off her feet, so we’re taking it easy as much as possible.

Paris Has a Rough Week

Paris Rose

Poor Paris Rose went to see the doctor Friday and was diagnosed with an ear infection and throat infection; this only a week after getting her Chicken Pox and Measles shots.

Our little angel was nearly catatonic last week, with puffy cheeks and swollen bags under her eyes. Fortunately, the amoxicillin the doctor prescribed has helped tremendously. She’s was feeling a lot better this morning, clapping, playing, and hungry as ever. She has to take the medicine for another week; medicine she’s starting to detest.

So we moved our over-sized table this weekend after little Paris Rose banged her mouth on it, then fell and bumped the back of her head. I didn’t even have to play AC/DC, she was head-banging to the beat of her own drum and WHACK! So our task for this upcoming weekend is to find a large throw rug to cover the hardwood floor in the living room. I’m thinking of getting a nice over-sized beanbag as well. Those are so much fun!

I’ll attach a picture of our bruised little princess tonight. 🙂

Welcome to the Website of Paris Rose Wiideman!

Paris Rose Wiideman was born April 23rd, 2005 to parents Melissa and Steven. We are residents of the “The OC”, Orange County, California and have built this site for friends and family to keep up-to-date on the life of our beautiful daughter Paris Rose.

Paris turns One Year Old this upcoming Saturday and has already been more places than most teenagers. She’s been to Fresno, San Diego (Zoo and Wild Animal Park), Calico Ghost Town in Barstow, Las Vegas, Disneyland (3 times) and most recently, Washington DC. –See below

Paris Rose and Family in Washington DC

We were recently in Washington because her daddy (me) was being honored as the 2006 CCA GREAT Award Recipient. GREAT stands for Graduate Recognition for Excellence, Achievement, and Talent. The trip was wonderful and Paris had a blast! The flight back wasn’t so great though. Try taking an infant on a 5 hour flight in the middle of the day. Then have a person who should have asked for two seats squish all three of you into the wall of the plane – not so fun.

The above photo was taken in front of the Lincoln Memorial, which was Paris and Daddy’s favorite attraction in Washington, DC. Melissa and I can’t wait to go back when the kids are older – what a fantastic vacation!
